In the mid-60s, the entrepreneur and visionary Anibal Tavares Lopes, originally from Portugal, started a history of work and success in the Paraná Granitos Group. Today, the group owns some of the most traditional and well-known Soft Quartzite Breccia Pearl, Hard Limestone Crema PR and Granites such as Imperial Coffee, Tunas Green, and Sea Foam Green.

Currently, the Group is managed by the Lopes family, who took on the mission of continuing the founder’s business vision, as well as maintaining family unity.

Timeline

WE GREW UP, WE KEEP EXTRACTING AND EXPANDING

PR Group Paraná’s story is based on family union, dreams, and hard work.

Our path has been due to a lot of effort and dedication since Mr. Anibal founded Paraná Granitos and acquired the quarries White PR, Imperial Coffee, Crema PR, Tunas Green, and Sea Foam Green. Our goal is to become synonymous of boldness, perfection and much quality in granite and marble stones.

Social and environmental responsibility

The PR Group contributes to the development of the regions in where it operates, participating in a significant way with social and environmental projects.
In the social range, we participate with monthly donations for daycare centers, food donations for churches and asylums, donations of organic food produced in our own vegetable garden for institution and also annually promote a themed holiday colony.

In the environmental section we preserve more than 50 hectares of own property and we also monitor 7 water springs in our own territory. Besides these activities, we built a seedplot for planting native seedlings and it is properly donated.
